Tips for a Fabulous Thanksgiving Table From FIDM Fashion School Grads

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 22, 2011

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, Fabulous on a Budget?s Leah Ashley and Mary Darling, graduates of the fashion school FIDM, have some great ideas for your table that are easy on the wallet, but big on style.

?We don't put a bunch of fake leaves or faux turkeys on our table ? we like simple, elegant, and clean!? say Leah and Mary. ?All of these ideas utilize vegetables, pumpkins, and gourds -- sure to keep you on a Fab budget.?

We love using pumpkins and gourds in a creative way, whether putting them on display on a cake stand or illuminating the inside with a small candle for a warm table glow. Everyone looks better by candlelight!

Break out the gold spray paint, and let's get Thanksgiving started! Add a little bling to your table with a little help from Home Depot! Spray paint miniature pumpkins and small gourds for a chic look.

When you're at the grocery store, pick up an extra artichoke or two ? they are pretty enough to stick in a vase or they may be carved out to house a battery-powered candlelight. Definitely a conversation starter!
