Out in the waves, the quality and performance of Girls4Sport's surf and swimwear for women leaves other surf brands sitting on the beach. And with its new 2008 collection--which debuts today at the Magic Marketplace in Las Vegas--Girls4Sport is setting the bar even higher for innovative, fashion-forward designs geared specifically for female surfers, kiteboarders, wakeboarders, kayakers, and other water divas.
In addition, the company is crossing over into more land-based sports with the introduction of its new Cross Train SupraDry fitness wear featuring a high-performance, moisture-wicking, quick-drying fabric that's ideal both in and out of the water. "We've applied the same passion for function, design, and performance to our new cross-over fitness wear as we've done with our water wear," said Kim Ruby, president of Girls4Sport. "And we'll continue in that vein as we develop products for more land-based sports."
The Cross Train SupraDry collection includes comfortable sport pants, shorts, bikini bottoms, sporty, cap-sleeve zip tops, and a smooth-shaping, breathable sports bra with mesh inserts and supportive three-ply construction.
New for 2008 in the surf and swimwear line up, Girls4Sport has expanded its offerings to include a half-sleeve rashguard with feminine baseball t-shirt styling, new scoop-neck, t-back rashguards in regular and midriff-baring lengths, low-rise athletic bottoms, knee-length pants, new lengths in board shorts, and a brand new halter bikini with matching tie bikini bottoms that are designed to stay in place.
The signature shelf-bra in all of Girls4Sport's rashguards has been reconfigured to create more of a cup--which provides greater support and separation--but remains just as smooth and comfortable as its flat-panel sister. Hidden drawstrings have been added to all of the swimwear bottoms to provide more staying power. The rashguards, bottoms, and board shorts are all made from super-soft UPF 50+ rated fabrics to provide maximum protection from the sun.
The 2008 collection features urban-inspired prints in hues of blue, yellow, black, and brown. The new products will be available in stores and online at http://www.girls4sport.com beginning in spring 2008.
